Hey everyone my name is Atticus. I'm a 22 year old post graduate living in California. I recently got into the pick up game because I noticed that after graduating that my run ins with attractive women weren't as frequent as they used to be. So naturally I felt the need to change that an start reading up on how the game works. I've currently read the books "The Game," "Double Your Dating," while frequently practicing cold readings such as the cube, the strawberry field and am learning how to read handwriting. I'm slowly starting to employ pick up methods into my game but before that I would just say something either ridiculous to strike up a conversation. I don't consider myself to be peacocking, but I usually rock a blazer with a snapback and my hair in a ponytail and that's in addition to the fact that I'm a 5'11'' Asian guy. Basically I stand out regardless. Things I've used in the past to pick up are asking for a password when a lady needs to get by, being difficult when asked for anything or drop a clever remark about something occuring at the venue that the target notices and smiles. From that point I usually get into a conversation, but until now I've usually been playing it out like an interview. I've figured out that my brain works very analytically and questions become the primary ammo to talking to women, but not necessarily the best route in terms of approach. Things slowly spiral downward from that point. I'm also not very good at number closing and have yet to try kiss close a target. I really need to work on my mid game and close game. Any tips? Some of my hobbies include reading, drawing, painting, photography, working out, swimming, basketball, and watching movies and TV. Breaking Bad. Walking Dead. Sopranos. The Wire. Arrested Development. Sons of Anarchy. My goal here is to become a great PUA. I know I have the potential and have had some luck in the past, but now I want to refine it to the point where I can seduce any target day or night. I've had sex many times before with various women but now I want to get more "bang for my buck" by knowing how to drive them to that situation instead of it being a coin toss. As for my backstory, I've always been a bit overweight and never saw myself as attractive. From that standing I was very bitter when I was young. What also made me shut out the world more was the fact that everyone thought I was Korean, so my ethnic identity was always questioned. From there lack of self esteem and confidence began developing and I never really took any risks with the ladies. Often times I would just play the nonchalant "eh, I don't like her" card, never really knowing where that would take me. I've had one serious GF a couple years ago, but I'm pretty sure it was because we both lost our virginities to each other. We were 18. From there I'd randomly meet women that I'd lay. Some were in our friend circle and some were one night stands, but all in all, I never knew how I managed to do it. I always chalked it up to my dry humor and luck. Anyways I'm here to learn as much as I can from the community. If there's anyone has any useful advice for a noob like I, feel free just to lay it on me, or at least point me into a direction. |
