Hi everyone, I'm a 39 year old guy living in London, UK. I guess like a lot of guys on here I want to learn how to boost my self confidence and achieve more success with women. I'm afraid my self esteem has historically been linked with weight issues. When I've even been slightly overweight it's almost like I can retreat into some kind of shell and any social confidence disappears. I don't (when I feel good about myself) actually have any great fear about approaching or talking to women, it's just that I'd like to start learning techniques to make those situations more 'rewarding'. I know that one of my failings is that I am sometimes a bit too thoughtful and tend to over-analyse things rather than striking while the iron is hot. I can think of a couple of situations with women recently where afterwards I've thought 'actually I should have done that, she was really up for it'. |
