Post subject:  Quantity/Quality. Drunk/Sober. What mix???

Hi,

I'm 23, working in a boring city job in London. Have to say i'm usually pretty successful with the ladies i've managed to bag 5-10 HB's (the most recent an ozzy page 3 model) and the same again in 7 or 8's. (Not gloating just setting the scene). However....despite getting quite a bit of attention on a night out, I rarely kiss/number close strangers. I generally need some sort of link through friends/work etc. I think I normally expect the girl to make the first move too which is dumb i know and slows me down a lot....and I have a tendancy to get far too drunk everytime I'm out. Its kinda what i'm known for now, and all the people i go out with I generally do because they know i'm a fun person to go out and get wasted with (and they're similar to myself). Also with my job now its kind of a necessity to be very lively/friendly and drink a lot.

However, I want all this to change. I'm heading out to brazil in March to travel around south america for 6 months and then on to oz for 6 months (all solo) and I want to up my game and cut down my drinking (a bit). I believe that I am a natural at heart, as I have no problem entertaining a crowd of girls and I would regard myself as quite charming/confident. But i'm getting on, and i don't want to look back on my younger years thinking that I should of done a lot better (more in quantity than quality) than I have done.

Does anyone have any tips on venues in london or is anyone in a similar position and has any tips on how I might go about making this change?
