Hey all. I'm ChrisTOTP. Top Of The Pops.

I just turned 28. I'm a professional athlete. I grew up in lovely Ohio, but I've lived in KY, IN, England, Mexico and now I'm in Eastern PA (an hour and change from Philly). I love music, sports, movies, TV shows and I consider myself monumentally lucky for being able to make a living (albeit a modest one) doing something that I love with a fiery passion.

During a dinner with some co-workers on the West Coast, I was told of a book called 'The Game' by Neil Strauss. My friend/co-worker divulged some of the knowledge contained in said book and I was insanely curious. The problem? I was in a relationship. How could I go out and try to sarge or become a PUA with a girl at home? So, yeah, I did some research online but I never followed up on anything.

Long story short, the girl and I ended up breaking up and I was now free to order the book (on a great site called DeepDiscount btw...). I had the book for 3 or 4 days and I'd already finished it. What a book?!

Now I was hooked. I wanted to know more, learn more and become more. Since then, I watched the whole season of VH1's 'The Pick Up Artist'. I'm half way thru 'Mystery Method' and I'm currently reading Rules of the Game and various mind trick, NLP and street magic books.

I've gone out and spiced up my avatar and it has done wonders for my self confidence.

In high school I had SO many crushes that just turned to absolutely nothing. I ended up in a relationship because it was convenient and I secretly wanted more. After HS, I ended up having pretty decent luck with ladies and became rather social. With my profession, I'm constantly in huge social settings all over the world, so I've become accustomed to meeting and wooing complete strangers.

I'm tall. I have nice hair and I'm a decently attractive guy. I've managed to bag some pretty decent girls.

So what's the problem? I have difficulty creating attraction. If the girl is interested, which happens because of the spotlight I'm in, it's easy peasy. However, I want the top of the line girls. I want every girl to be attracted to me in some way or another. I want every guy to seek my company and wonder "how" I do what I do.

Now that I've dipped my toes into this scene, I'm addicted. How far will it go? Who the hell knows. But I am excited. The pieces seem to be falling into place for me and I want to achieve everything I've ever dreamed possible.

I've started approaching and FUCK can that be nerve wracking or what?! If I have some kind of "in", there's no worry from me, but just a 3 or 4 set hanging back by themselves, now that's a challenge. Approach anxiety has been my biggest problem thus far. I'm a constant violator of the Three Second Rule.

My progress thus far is promising(to me). I've tried some of the techniques with girls in various workplaces (gym, tanning salon, grocery store, the mall) and I easily managed a #close and a kiss on the cheek from some chick I just met. I've done the cube successfully. Ran the 5 wrong answers routine, the How many 9's and I've got Mystery's 1-10 photographic memory bit down. I learned a cool one called Alice in Numberland that made the Tanning Salon chick produce DDB look. But yeah. Not very impressive.

So, that's me. I'm a newborn baby in this shit and I wanna meet some folk that happen to be embarking on a similar journey. If anyone saw the last few episodes of the PUA, you can witness how emotionally fucked up women have us. It's not their fault. It's our fault. Let's turn it back on them. In a nice way though. Let's show all these 9s, 10s and even the rare 11s that WE are valuable. Just as valuable as anyone they could ever imagine.

We're in this together, guys. Good luck to everyone out there! I look forward to reading the threads and hearing from you all.

Late.
