I am an AFC. I used to be a basement dwelling cunt, like seriously I would only talk to people who had the exact same interests as me and if someone else differed even the slightest I would crumble and wonder just what to talk about.
I visited Japan earlier this year while I was still 40% a basement dwelling cunt and going out and about opened my eyes. I was hitting myself (not literally
) over and over and it was frustrating looking at all these Japanese girls I could have been able to pick up or at least talk to, to some degree.So I decided that living like this is the most pointless and stupid excuse for a life imaginable, I started Googling how to improve social skills and how to talk to girls and I discovered the PUA community.
I have only known of these online forums for 2 days and I am doing some party photography this Saturday and Sunday (so 1 and 2 days away).
I know some of the limbo in the PUA community from reading articles.
Kino = touching
AFC = average frustrated chump
PUA = pick up artist
But obviously I am still very fresh. I can talk to people now (60-70% competent, sometimes I blank out on what to say. Learn routines?), from my own work before discovering the PUA community but I still don't know how to exactly build up attraction in women, like to the point where I will get at least a kiss. I am still a virgin, never dated and kissed a girl maybe 4-5 times.
I am 17 (18 in July), not fat.
So I guess my question is, aside from reading all these articles and forum posts what can I do for my saturday/sunday experience?
I want to break my approach anxiety or at least crush a huge amount of it and hopefully get a pickup. If there is any regional specific advice I am in Australia.

I have an idea for a routine at a party, but thinking about what to say after is leaving me a bit empty.
Me: Hey, you're from primary school. How's it been we haven't spoken in ages?
HB: (obviously going to say no)
Me: Oh, well you look like her (smile). What was your name anyway?

Sounds a bit off, but then again I am a noob. Mmm
you should read "the game by niel strauss" that should help you with the basics. You can break your AA (approach anxiety) by talking to lots of people you don't know. Starting with the mall, grocery or other places where people are present, you can take a practice exercise by opening 100 people a day regardless if its a boy or a girl. the main point here is to break nervousness and fear of approaching. Also, your openers sound AFC (no offense but for me, asking for a girl's name early on is a big NO, except when she asks my name first). Other than that, you should be fine
