Post subject:  Asking a girl out over facebook. Creepy or is it okay?
I sent a message to a girl over fb. Just saying "hey". she replied with "hey whats up". i knew her from high school. But never really got to know her personally. I wanna ask her out on a date but dont want to look weird because im asking over facebook. I was thinking of saying something like this. " Hey whats your schedule look like this week, wanna get a drink or a bite sometime?" your thoughts please...

Never ask her out using messenger. Get the number first, then over text or phone.

Also, you can host an event and send her an invite to it.

I've seen it happen from the side of the girl (I was staying over at a female friend of mine) and it was super creepy.

Do you have a mutual friend? Invite to an event with the mutual friend so she feels less threatened.

i do have a'lot of mutual friends with her. didnt end up getting back to her. i just feel facebook is not the place to try ask for numbers and meeting up. I really appreciate the idea's and the thoughts on this. Its on to the next one for me!

If I was in this situation, I would say something like It's been a while since we talked, blah blah blah . . . we should catch up sometime then see what she says. If you two have been talkin a while and she feels comfortable she'll probably say yes, and then its a simple number close great, we should exchange numbers so its easier to keep in touch

Then start textin her, remember to keep the texts strictly on a one-for-one basis, nothing more annoying than some guy texting you 4 or 5 times without your reply :?
