Cowboy Steve here, I'm 21 and new to the forum, obviously, and the seduction community as a whole. I've read and own a copy of The Game, as well as Dr. L. Rx's "Dating to Relating". Not much practice in the past, just trying to get my confidence sea legs first. Really, confidence is where I need to start. From what I've heard, women think I'm handsome (if rather poorly dressed, and I worry my six-and-a-half foot height is a turn off). I'm going to college at the moment, pursuing a degree in compositional English to get an eventual job as an editor, and possibly a future author. I don't have much help on the second bit, but I have good references for the first. I currently live with my divorcee dad (a situation in need of rectification), and like most guys here, I have a spotty history with women. I first kissed a girl when I was eight years old while living in North Carolina, but my game's been on-off since then. Anyways, introductions are done I think. From what I ascertained from Style's book is that The Game is something you can only win by leaving. Everyone wants something out of themselves, so this is as much of a quest to self-discovery as it is learning to gain a social edge. P.S.: The name "Cowboy Steve" is entirely made up. My name isn't Steve, and I got the nickname "Cowboy" from the Pantera song "Cowboys from Hell", which I used to listen to frequently as a younger man. |

Hey First off, height is ALLWAYS a tun-on. I am myself 206 cm which is 6'9 and i've never had a problem with it. You get instant qualification. As you are a tall man, you need to train weights so it won't look lenky. You are right about needing some confidence. As guys, handsomeness won't go far without inner game. I would recommend you check out David Deangelo who has changed my whole belifsystem about myself. You could also check out the inner game section on this forum. I have studied inner game for 1 year so pm me if you have any questions. I don't know what you meant by saying "The Game is something you can only win by leaving"? The game with woman can be won in ALOT of different ways and going into them would take way to long. As mentioned over, fix your inner game and getting girls will be way easier. Hope it helps |

I think I had a bit of a definitive flub when I defined "The Game". The game, really, is when one goes out into the field, makes contact with a woman, and works from there. I had my head in Style's book. What I meant was that everyone has their own goals as a PUA. Some want monogamy, some want to be babe hounds until they die. I don't know what I want, really. But I intend to find out. |

Steve, the Game is a book. It's entertainment. The reason Style says the only way to win is to leave... is because that was HIS definition of success. What are your goals from the game? If you achieve them - THAT is success. For me, divorced, 45, commitment-phobic... the game allows me to fuck a plethora of women; almost 30 this year thus far. I'm happy. I'm adjusted, I'm content and I'm in a place mentally where my positive approach adn direct game are my difference makers (in my opinion). Take the 'Game' book, and read it not from an instructional perspective, but one just to entertain. Trust me. As for your height, it's a non-issue. Treat it as such. You're tall, you garner attention as soon as you hit a set. USE that. Strategic peacocking can work well with that. RR |
