This sounds like a case of oneitis, though I'll shed some light with my current situation involving fb relationships. My last semester at university, I started to friend complete strangers, the goal of which was to reach 1000 friends. (I fell about 700 friends short.) Most of my friend requests were accepted. (which, ironically, was the first and last interaction we ever had!) What I found was that guys would accept me outright, whereas girls were more curious as to who I was. My profile pic didn't feature me prominently, which could have added to my mystery. After friending 150 strangers, I received 5 personal messages, and of those five, one suggested that we hang out, and become "real life friends." Though I had a gf at the time, I'd be friendly when I saw her around campus. We've managed to remain in contact through fb after I graduated, and I recently received a message from her alerting me to her impending move to to NY (where I live.) As a bonus, I saw her the other night, and was introduced to two of her cute friends. My suggestion is to friend girls in your area. Girls whom you haven't met, yet share mutual fb friends. The more you friend, the better your odds. |

Dude, you saw an attractive girl on fb? I think it may be better if you shift your focus and find attractive girls in real life, because seriously man, as i'm discovering they're all around you. Complimenting a '10' on FB won't get you very far, she must already get enough compliments in real life... she needs someone who intrigues her. And for that, you must become a man worthy of being intruiged by. Stick around, read a few threads, start talking to girls. You'll be amazed at how soon she fades from your mind. |
