Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 24 years old and decided to read The Game back in February after getting out of a 3-year relationship that basically lasted all through college, and I realized I had no idea how to successfully hit on girls. My confidence was shot after I found out that the girl I was with had been cheating on me for the last couple months that we were together, so I've been trying to get back on my feet and back in the game ever since then. I tend to be especially shy around attractive girls and still haven't quite mastered the art of "demonstrating higher value." I know I have a lot to offer, but confidence is something I'm really looking to build. My goal is to be able to approach attractive girls with confidence and not be at a loss for words but instead have something interesting and engaging to say. My greatest difficulty is getting a conversation started - once I'm comfortable in a conversation, I usually have no problem letting my humor and personality show through. |

Welcome to forum, Legal. It sounds like you to work on your inner game to find that confidence you lack. You sound like you're on your way, since you realize that you are a worthy person, and that most of this boils down to shyness. Practice some approaches. With practice you'll not only gain confidence with practice, but it will take the pressure off. When you're approaching several women a night, several nights a week, you stop looking at each approach as something to fear, and instead, something to gain from. Keep us posted on how things go! |
