33 year-old male here. Been single for several years now. I've been on many many dates over these years. Some dates go very well and become a two to three month thing, some dates are just disasters or we're mutually just not interested.

I've hit a rough spot recently where one chick and I lasted for roughly two months and ended out of the blue with no reason given. Ego took a shot. Some of my close girlfriends over the past couple of weeks have told me that I can't make myself too available to women and that I have to play "The Game."

No clue what they were talking about. Did a little research, read a few books over the past week or so at Barnes and Noble...most notably "The Game" by Neil Strauss. This is a whole new world to me, fellas. I feel like I've been dating in the 1960's now.

Some of my close girlfriends say that I have "natural game." ...Whatever that is. They also say that my problem is that I become too clingy or too needy early on. I think this is probably true.

Where do I go from here? I've read about live workshops out on the town with PUA gurus. I live in Greenville, South Carolina. Any of these so-called "workshops" out here by any chance? Point me in the right direction.
