What's up guys?

As mentioned in thread title: new member + urgent question.

I'll share some of my personal experience (successes and fails, I am not afraid to be honest) in another thread at a later time, but for now, I'd like some assistance.

I recently got into this because I was trying to get my mind off someone else.

Anyway, I haven't had problems talking to women or getting their numbers, but I am rather inexperienced in the first call ~ second date.

I met a 10 while she was working on Saturday night (around 9:30pm or so).

Our interaction went something like this:

Me: Are you Russian?
Her: No, I am from Pennsylvania, but same thing right? hahaha
Me: haha yeah

*I got my order, left with my buddy to finish it, then I went back into the store*

Me: Hey I didn't catch your name
Her: *name*
Me: I am *name*, nice to meet you
Me: How old are you?
Her: How old do I look?
Me: I dunno
Her: Guess
Me: 22?
Her: nope.
Me: younger or older?
Her: older
Me: 23...24...?
Her: 25.
Me: Can I take you out?
Her: Maybe, I'll think about it.
Me: Heh. Can I have your number?
Her: Yes xxx-xxxx
Me: haha, this is real right?
Her: Yeah. I'd prove it to you, but I can't take out my phone during work.

I called her Tuesday night at 8pm. No answer. But I figured she's likely working, so I called at 10:30pm. No answer.

So my question is, what do I do now?

Btw, I am 20.

honestly i would say it is a lost cause and for future reference... don't call her twice in one night.... it just makes u look needy and as soon as you appear needy you practically loose all hope in getting anywhere with the girl. but a valuable lesson can be learned from this, you always want to appear as if you could do with out her... but you would be willing to give her a shot if she put a little effort in.... the more you study the art of pick up the more this simple concept will make sense to you... good luck.

She's not interested. You can call or text again a couple of days later, but my advice for you is to practice, practice, practice.

Thanks guys!

Btw, she doesn't know that number is mine.

For future reference, should I text instead of call?

I only ask because I never "exchange" phone numbers, I just get theirs and leave.

But I know some people don't answer numbers they don't recognize.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think from your experience.

Oh, I hadn't realized. In that case, I would wait a day or two, text her something like:

"Hey, it's George! You know, the super awesome guy you gave your number to on Monday. This is my number; I'll call you when I get back home!"

And then call.

Ahh, I guess the details really matter.

This is why I hate communicating through text/writing.

I am pretty sure the conversation I listed in the OP looks bland as fuck too lol.

Thanks for the tip George.

How about something like: "I am pretty sure phones are meant to be answered. Or do girls from Pennsylvania do things differently? :P"

She'll most likely ask "Who's this???"

And then I'll go with what you said: "Hey, it's George! You know, the super awesome guy you gave your number to on Monday. This is my number; I'll call you when I get back home!"
